Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 11-week travel assignment in Marion, Illinois. The role requires strong neuro assessment skills, ICU experience, and the ability to float as needed between ICU and step-down units.

Current IL license (active or temp), BLS, ACLS and NIHSS are required. Expect 48 hours per week, nights, with 12-hour shifts and a 2:1 ICU nurse ratio. Travel benefits and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Must have IL license (active or temporary IL license).
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience; 1 travel assignment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU-level care with neuro-focused assessments.
• Manage ventilators and airway equipment as needed.
• Monitor hemodynamics and administer vasoactive meds.
• Perform sepsis protocols and critical care interventions.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced ICU setting.
