Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a Saint Louis, Missouri assignment. The ICU RN will provide direct bedside care, monitor critically ill patients, and support physicians during a 12-hour night shift on a 36-hour work week for 18 weeks.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications, with the ability to operate ICU equipment, administer meds, document care, and communicate updates to families.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care ICU experience.
• ICU RN responsibilities include bedside care, monitoring, and direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as needed.
• Monitor and adjust ICU equipment and interpretations.
• Ensure proper placement of catheters and lines.
• Communicate patient conditions to families.
