Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Joseph, Missouri. This assignment is 13 weeks long, with 48 hours per week and night shifts.

Start date is 10/20/2026, and you will be employed as a travel nurse. Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certification, and 18 months of recent ICU experience in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS & ACLS Certification is required.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as well as education and support to the patient's family.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Observe the patient's heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient’s physical condition.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
