Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a CA RN license and at least one year of recent ICU experience. The role features 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), 36 hours per week, and a 13-week assignment, with EPIC EMR used for documentation.

CA travel nurses may receive competitive pay and benefits through American Traveler’s programs; local candidates are considered at the same rate as travelers.

Qualifications

• CA RN license is required.
• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years ICU nursing experience preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• Active license at time of consideration; pending credentials not accepted.
• Dialysis or SLED experience preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital environment.
• 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.
• Use the EPIC EMR system.
