American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week acute care assignment in Nebraska. The role requires 2+ years ICU experience, an active RN license, and NIHSS, BLS, ACLS certifications.

You will work in a 33-bed Level 2 trauma ICU with a 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio, titrating drips, managing ventilators, and documenting telemetry using EPIC EMR; travel housing and licensure reimbursements provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license for state of submission required; compact licenses accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and active; pending not accepted.
• Ability to titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips; read telemetry strips.

Responsibilities

• 33-bed ICU with an average daily census of 16.
• Level 2 trauma center in an acute care hospital setting.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3 for adult patients.
• Titrate drips including cardiac, insulin, and sedation medications.
• Manage respiratory equipment from nasal cannula to ventilators.
• Read, interpret, and document telemetry strips with tele tech oversight.
