Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Evanston, Illinois.

The ICU RN will evaluate and monitor patients, provide life-sustaining care, administer medications, and coordinate with families and the care team. Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS, and be available for a 12-week assignment with 36 hours per week on night shifts.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years of ICU/acute care experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Provide direct patient care and document care plans.
• Administer medications and interpret labs/tests.
• Communicate patient conditions to families and care team.
• Operate ICU equipment and ensure patient safety.
