TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Mesa, Arizona. The ICU Travel Nurse will evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU, provide direct care, document care plans, and support families.

This role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and 12-hour night shifts on a 36-hour week schedule. Responsibilities include bedside care, medication administration, diagnostic testing, monitor equipment, and communication with families.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS required.
• NIH certification may be required before assignment.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and adjust ICU equipment and interpret displays.
• Communicate patient conditions to family members.
