Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse for ICU - Intensive Care Unit in Phoenix, Arizona. This travel assignment is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

The right candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and is prepared to work in a high‑acuity ICU environment. As an ICU RN, you will evaluate and monitor critically ill patients, document care, administer prescribed medications, and coordinate with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications, or equivalents required.
• Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced ICU.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor critically ill patients in ICU.
• Document care and administer prescribed medications.
• Coordinate with physicians and other care providers.
• Educate and support patients' families as needed.
• Assist with specialized equipment and patient care plans.
