Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse for Sterling, CO. The RN will provide direct ICU care, monitor patients, document care plans, and coordinate with physicians. This role requires strong bedside skills and the ability to educate families on care plans.

The position involves 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and travel nursing responsibilities with potential tax-free stipends. Prior acute care experience of 1–2 years is preferred, along with required BLS and ongoing certifications

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting with physician-directed care.
• Document care plans and delegate tasks to other care providers as appropriate.
• Educate and support patient families and communicate conditions to them.
