MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Sterling, Colorado. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on night shifts in the ICU.

Active RN license, nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS are required, with at least 18 months of ICU experience. Travel benefits include weekly pay, housing or housing allowance, medical/dental/vision coverage, life and disability insurance, travel reimbursement, and 401(k) matching.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support to patients and families.
• Ensure proper operation of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor vital signs and respond to distress.
• Administer meds, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Maintain meticulous medication administration documentation.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid changes in condition.
• Perform CPR and other resuscitation procedures when required.
