MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tarboro, North Carolina. The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for adults in ICU, with education and family support.
• Ensure functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress signals.
• Administer medications, IVs, and catheter insertions as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of all medication administration.
• Assist in emergency procedures to promptly manage clinical changes.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
