Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU/Acute Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU patient care and family education.
• Operate life-support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt changes in condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
