Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a travel assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and ICU experience. Assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts, travel employment.

Qualifications
- Active RN License.
- Degree from accredited nursing program.
- BLS & ACLS Certification.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in ICU with education and support to families.
- Ensure functioning life-support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
- Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress.
- Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
- Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
- Assist in emergency nursing procedures for changes in patient condition.
- Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
