MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a short-term assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. The role focuses on high-acuity patient care in ICU with a 12-hour shift schedule and a 36-hour work week.

Qualified candidates will hold an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS/ACLS certifications, plus 18 months of ICU experience. Travel benefits and credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and educate family.
• Ensure life support equipment functions properly.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration.
• Administer medications and IVs; insert catheters as needed.
• Document medication administration meticulously.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures.
• Perform CPR accurately and promptly.
