American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Antioch, California. This Acute Care Float position requires CA RN licensure and prior travel nursing experience, with 36 hours per week and a 3x12 hour night shift schedule.

The role involves floating to telemetry and ICU units as census dictates, delivering care to critically ill patients and leveraging Epic EMR for charting. Travel benefits, per diems, and housing stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience.
• Experience caring for ICU and telemetry patients.
• Preferred IABP, Impella and PIRRT experience.
• Must complete onboarding and licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Float in Acute Care Float Pool within a hospital.
• Float to telemetry units and ICU as needed.
• Care for patients in critical care, ICU and telemetry.
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:00 (3x12h).
• Every other weekend; on-call per census.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation.
