Responsibilities

• Process physician orders and ensure accurate clerical information is distributed confidentially.
• Enter orders into the Hospital Information System legibly and promptly.
• Organize medical records from admission through transfer or discharge in line with policy.
• Maintain professional communication via phone, email, and system messaging.
• Protect patient and hospital records in line with privacy and confidentiality mandates.
• Capture charges accurately to support correct patient billing.
• Monitor telemetry for patients in ICU or CVU and report adverse rhythms to nursing.
