Ochsner Health is seeking a nurse leader to provide patient care through the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and standards. You will delegate, mentor, and lead licensed and ancillary staff to achieve quality outcomes and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration.

The role emphasizes adapting to diverse patient populations, maintaining professional accountability, and contributing to unit and department goals within a compassionate healthcare environment.

Formación

• RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nurse team resources within the interdisciplinary team.
• Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
• Support patient privacy, quality outcomes, and staff morale.
