Beacon Health System is seeking a full-time ICU Stepdown Registered Nurse for 9 South at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. You will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and develop individualized plans of care for high-acuity patients.

The role requires an accredited nursing program completion and RN license in Indiana, with a BSN or specialty certification encouraged within 5 years.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN license in Indiana
• Within 5 years of employment as an RN, obtain a BSN or certification in your area of specialty

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively performs high-risk, high-frequency nursing procedures in accordance with standards.
• Prioritizes patient care activities based on acuity, resource availability, and departmental needs.
• Identifies and responds to physical or emotional health risks, initiating corrective actions.
