Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient’s condition and age including basic self-care activities.
• Formulate and implement a teaching plan with involvement of the family.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
• Assist physicians with procedures and technical tasks.
• Identify and address psychosocial needs of patients and families; coordinate post-discharge planning with social services.
• Promote cost-effective practices and safe care.
• Pursue lifelong learning related to the nursing profession.
