Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with California license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in ICU or critical care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Understand own and team members' scope of practice and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care.
• Monitor the patient's progress based on the plan.
• Revise plan on an ongoing basis based on patient condition.
• Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plan.
• Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
• Chart accurately, ensuring documentation reflects nursing process.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
