Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a specialty unit. You will collaborate across disciplines, plan and evaluate care, monitor patient status, and mentor students and new staff as needed.

Strong emphasis on patient and family-centered care, safety, and adherence to unit standards. Requires ACLS/BLS and Florida RN license with ongoing credential maintenance.

Formación

• Nursing program completion from an accredited school.
• Current Florida RN license and active practice.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or to be obtained as per unit policy.
• Fetal monitoring, PALS and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and credential maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referrals and psychosocial support.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care based on assessment to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Monitor, document and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel when appropriate.
• May precept student nurses and new hires.
• Assess learning needs of patient and family and provide education suitable to age, culture, and condition.
