Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU to provide leadership on weekend nights and coordinate patient care. The RN will supervise staff, perform assessments, and ensure quality care across shifts.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and nursing degree with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. ACLS/PALS may be required depending on location, with strong teamwork and communication essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift and during weekends/holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and delivery.
• May have additional duties within the scope of the role.
