Job summary

Texas Health Frisco is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit. This PRN II Night shift runs 7 PM to 7 AM, with a minimum of three shifts every six weeks including one weekend.

The ICU team cares for diverse patients with complex needs, including CRRT, IABP, ARDS, prone therapy, vasoactive drips, and post-arrest care. Current TX RN licensure required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing or ADN required.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency required.
• 2+ years ICU nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure for TX upon hire.
• BCLS within hire period, maintained quarterly.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• CPI within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ICU per standards.
• Demonstrate compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Perform assessments, care planning, and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
