Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit at Winchester Hospital on a part-time, per diem basis. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and coordination with the ICU team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates will hold a Massachusetts RN license (BSN preferred), BLS within 90 days, and ACLS within 1 year. Prior unit-specific ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• BLS within 90 days of hire, ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• Work experience in unit-specific specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observe patients' progress and evaluate therapies for outcomes and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to develop an optimal care plan for each patient.
• Support and educate patients and their families to achieve better health outcomes.
