Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking an ICU RN for per diem day shifts in New Jersey. We are Magnet-designated for nursing excellence, with a team of award-winning nurses and a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes.

The ICU RN Per Diem Days role requires NJ RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/ECG/critical care courses preferred or obtained during orientation. Salary commensurate with experience and market data, with potential for certification pay and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
• 1 year of experience preferred; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
