Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is seeking an ICU RN for per diem day shifts. You will join a Magnet-recognized hospital with a history of excellence in nursing practice and patient outcomes.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and ongoing certifications; BSN preferred. Expect collaborative teamwork, accurate assessments, and precise documentation while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Jersey.
• BSN preferred; not mandatory.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification obtained during orientation.
• ECG course completed during orientation.
• Critical care course completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

The ICU RN Per Diem Days will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferred BSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation

Salary Range: 56.00 - 56.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
