Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Division 7800 ICU Oncology unit. This 25-bed unit provides care to oncology and post-surgical patients with high acuity needs. Shift options include 3 twelve-hour nights and opportunities for day shifts for experienced ICU nurses.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, nursing diploma/associate's, and ideally a BSN. Prior ICU and trauma care experience is valued; oncology, surgical, or ICU bedside experience is preferred but not

Qualifications

• RN licensed nurse
• ICU/critical care experience preferred
• Oncology, Surgical or ICU bedside experience helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an oncology/bone marrow transplant surgical ICU setting.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge needs.
• Maintain patient safety and quality standards; participate in care coordination across teams.
