Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 24-hour Day shift in the CT area. The role includes a 12-hour shift with every third weekend, supporting a high-acuity unit and collaborating with physicians, case managers and support staff.

Ideal candidates have an RN license in CT, a nursing degree from an accredited school, and recent CCU or med-surg experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement care plans for complex patient populations.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Support education and mentorship as a preceptor or charge nurse as needed.
