Job summary

Tenet Desert in Joshua Tree, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for ICU to join the team on a full-time basis. The position requires night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am with every other weekend, and involves caring for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment.

A $25,000 sign-on bonus is offered based on experience. The role includes administrative duties, team collaboration, and ongoing competency demonstrations within the ICU unit.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• ACLS Certification is required.
• Dysrhythmia interpretation course or demonstrated competency is required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an ICU setting according to policy.
• Administer IV medications and fluids safely.
• Perform and document health assessments and patient responses.
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare team effectively.
• Supervise and instruct LVNs, CNAs, and students as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and care plans.
• Assist with invasive procedures and monitor invasive lines and equipment.
