Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an experienced RN for the Integrated ICU at Dunedin, FL. This full-time night shift position runs 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every-other-weekend requirements and no on-call duties.

The role requires an RN license and Nursing degree (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor), with preferred BSN. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Join a large Tampa Bay employer offering strong benefits and growth.

Qualifications

RN license is required.
Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor in Nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor’s in Nursing.
1 year RN ICU experience in Acute Care setting.
BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA).
ACLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care in ICU using nursing process and clinical standards.
Delegate care to health care team members as appropriate.
Care for patients through recovery in critical care.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient vitals and assessments to the care team.
Identify and respond to changes in patient condition.
Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients.
Coordinate discharge planning and referrals for continuity of care.
Maintain high emotional intelligence to ensure positive patient experience.
