Job summary

Singing River Ocean Springs Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, uphold professional standards, and support the care team in a dynamic hospital setting. The RN will utilize the Nursing Process to promote health, safety, and comfort for patients across ages, under the Mississippi Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

Candidates must be licensed in Mississippi, maintain BCLS, and complete required certifications.

Qualifications

• RN license in Mississippi required.
• Graduate of NLN School of Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification.
• De-escalation training required by end of orientation (90 days).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process per state and professional standards.
• Maintain and update certifications as required.
• Collaborate with care team to coordinate patient care.
• Demonstrate professional judgment and clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.
