Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical ICU in Gulfport, MS. This full-time day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outcomes for acutely ill adults within a collaborative team.

Qualified candidates will have an RN license in Mississippi, graduate from an NLN-approved program, and current BCLS certification; ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NRP certifications are

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Mississippi RN license; BCLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP certifications preferred or completed within designated timelines.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient experience within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process to restore and maintain health.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff in the ICU.
• Monitor patient status, document care, and respond to changes promptly.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards.
