Job summary

Barnes Jewish West County Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking an ICU RN for 12-hour night shifts. This role is part-time and offers benefits eligibility starting the first day of the month after start. The ICU team provides high-level care and opportunities for growth toward team lead/charge nurse roles.

Qualified candidates will have an RN license, a nursing diploma/associate's, and ideally a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Prior ICU experience is required to join this dedicated unit.

• RN with ICU experience and current licensure required.
• 12-hour night shifts, part-time position.
• Strong patient- and family-centered care mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care following nursing standards and plans of care.
• Educates patients and families on illness, treatment, and home care needs.
• Supports patient safety, quality and regulatory requirements, and professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents care plans with interprofessional team.
• Assesses patient preferences, values, and needs and communicates across care continuum.
