Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional nursing care for critically ill patients. You will supervise nursing interventions, assign tasks to team members, and assess patient, family and staff learning needs while delivering clinical education.

This position floats across UCLA Health units based on census and RN skill; locations include Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA West Valley Medical Center.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN degree required.
• BLS from Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
• 3 years ICU RN experience or 2 years UCLA Health ICU RN experience required.
• ICU experience in an acute hospital setting preferred for travel or extensive ICU care.
• ACLS and National Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care for ICU patients.
• Supervise nursing interventions and assign related tasks.
• Assess patient, family and staff learning needs and deliver clinical education.
• Develop, implement and evaluate patient care plans with patient and family involvement.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to execute care plans.
• Float to multiple UCLA Health units (Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA West Valley Medical Center) based on census and RN skills.
