Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift, responsible for delivering safe patient care in ICU settings.

You will apply nursing process steps, coordinate with physicians, and guide patient/family education while maintaining privacy and high standards of care. The role requires an RN license, BLS, ACLS within hire timelines, and ideally Critical Care training or CCRN.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License required.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• ACLS certification current within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physician and team; monitor hemodynamics and diagnostics.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
