Job summary

Baldwin Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift to provide patient-centered care within established protocols and physician orders. You will coordinate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure effective outcomes and a compassionate environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, life-support equipment management, and collaborative care plan development. RN licensure and BCLS are required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN licensure in state (or compact) required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes promptly.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Documents care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
• Maintains infection control and patient safety standards.
