Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications required upon hire
• Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process for individualized care and evidence-based practice
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity
• Partners with patient and family using bedside reports, rounds, and patient teaching
• Practices using current clinical standards and evidence-based practice
• Demonstrates teamwork and effective collaboration across disciplines
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participates in performance improvement and shared governance
• Completes ongoing professional competency and education requirements
• Serves as a preceptor/mentor for staff and students
• Promotes nursing research and value analysis to improve patient outcomes
• Complies with policies, standards, and professional ethics
