Job summary

MemorialCare in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU to provide safe, cost-effective patient care in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit during the night shift (12 hours). Placement in pay range reflects experience and qualifications, with additional compensation potential from shift differentials and bonuses.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year ICU experience, BSN preferred, California RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ICU experience in an acute care hospital.
• BSN required unless waived by nurse executive council review.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California is required.
• A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support(CPR & AED) and ACLS certification are also required

Responsibilities

• To provide safe, cost-effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing.
