Job summary

The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care/ICU team. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate nursing activities, and support patient/family education in a high-acuity environment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in care transitions, and uphold Mayo Clinic’s Nursing Professional Practice Model. The role requires flexibility across days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Current RN license by state requirements.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Deliver direct patient care across progressive and intensive care units.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe transitions of care.
• Adhere to Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
