American Medical Staffing is currently looking for a Local Contract Nurse RN for ICU in Chesapeake, Virginia. The role involves delivering critical care, documenting using EPIC, and managing complex patient needs. Candidates must have significant ICU experience, an RN license, and be willing to obtain the necessary state licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN.
• At least 3 years of experience in an ICU setting is required.
• Must have EPIC proficiency along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ICU care using EPIC documentation while managing vents and IV drip titrations.
• Monitor for and respond to critical conditions like respiratory failure and sepsis.
• Support patient care by floating to Stepdown and ED as needed.
