VCU Health operates a 15-bed ICU dedicated to Liver Transplant and Transplant Hepatology with a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio tailored to case complexity. The unit provides round-the-clock in-person provider coverage and benefits from Epic/EHR integration to support high-quality care.

Growth is strong, with liver transplant volumes rising annually; in 2023 VCU Health completed 205 liver transplants. RN licensure is required with optional pathways for BSN, and compensation starts around

Competenze

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility/compact state.
• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Within five years of start date, enroll in and complete RN to BSN program if not yet BSN.
