Job summary

Paris Regional is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join its ICU team in Paris, Texas. You will provide expert patient care, execute care plans, and work closely with the care team to support patients and families.

Applicants must hold an active RN license and an associate degree in nursing. BLS is required within 30 days of hire; 1 year of experience is preferred. Paris Regional offers sign-on bonuses, shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
• ASLS, PALS and Handle with Care certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided and communicates updates to the care team.
• Monitors patient condition and collaborates with physicians and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Coordinates transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
• Educates patients and families tailored to age and condition.
• Participates in performance improvement and ongoing education.
• Provides quality care and maintains reliable attendance.
