The Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking an experienced RN for a 6-bed Critical Care Unit in Sullivan, MO. You will provide direct patient care in a 2:1 nurse-to-patient environment and work three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Qualifications

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in a 6-bed Critical Care Unit, with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to nursing standards.
• Educate patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs, respecting cultural and personal preferences.
• Maintain safety and alertness as this is a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications & Skills:

RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree with < 2 years of experience preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus.

• Hospital-based bedside RN with 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
