Job summary

Vista Specialty Hospital is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect critical care in the ICU. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and coordinate with physicians and the medical team.

ACLS/BLS required; six months ICU experience preferred; ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Graduation from a BSN/ADN or Nursing Diploma program, and current RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• BLS and ACLS required; ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of date of hire.
• Minimum six months ICU experience preferred in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect critical patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, family and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, nursing supervisor/manager, and co-workers.
• Participate in discharge planning process.
