Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit at Bartow Regional Medical Center in Florida. The role requires current RN licensure, ICU experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

The ICU team provides high-level critical care with in-person responsibilities and on-call considerations. The position offers a full-time schedule with evening shifts (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) and every-other-weekend requirements, plus a sign-on bonus based on years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in nursing.
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor’s or higher in Nursing.
• 1 year RN ICU experience in acute care.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for ICU patients using nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate patient care activities to health-care team members.
• Support patients throughout their recovery in critical care.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and assessments for the care team.
• Identify sudden changes in patient condition and respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals for continuity of care.
