Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital, based in Anchorage, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered ICU care in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

ACLS must be obtained within 90 days, BCLS within 7 days of start, and ICU experience is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in a 250+ bed facility focused on exceptional clinical outcomes and a healthy work environment.

Qualifications

• RN license and eligibility to practice in Alaska.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience preferred; all candidates must meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU.
• Document care in patient records promptly and accurately.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Lead striving for optimal outcomes and overall unit performance.
