Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Medical ICU Registered Nurse who will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The RN will educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge steps; promote healthy lifestyles; and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and ensure excellent care across the unit.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• Associate Degree required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the RN role
• Teach patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up steps
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures for lifestyle and self-management
• Engage in evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement to meet quality metrics
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care plans
