Huntsville Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg floor. You will provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, and contribute to care coordination with the healthcare team.

Requires Texas RN licensure or eligibility, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS within 90 days. Experience in Med/Surg is preferred. The role emphasizes patient advocacy, safety, and adherence to standards.

Qualifikationen

• Registered nurse licensure in Texas or eligibility is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Aufgaben

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, provide, document and evaluate care.
• Perform ongoing data collection, establish nursing diagnoses, and set patient goals.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Deliver age-appropriate patient care and administer interventions as planned.
• Administer and reconcile medications and ensure infection prevention protocols.
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and PHI handling.
• Engage in ongoing quality improvement, survey readiness, and staff development.
