Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA, seeks an RN for the ICU on days, full-time. The unit features a 24-bed ICU with a diverse cardiac and neurosurgical patient mix and continuous educational opportunities. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available to qualified candidates.

Ideal applicants will have ICU or high-acuity experience; previous ICU experience highly preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, autonomy and accountable nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.

Competenze

• RN – Registered Nurse with Georgia licensure required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred/BSN encouraged.
• Previous ICU or high-acuity experience highly preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform patient assessments including physical, psychosocial and health history.
• Evaluate developmental age when performing assessments and education.
• Organize data and form a plan of care; identify outcomes.
• Carry out plan of care to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide care appropriate to severity and identified needs.
• Oversee activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources for patient education.
• Communicate issues to Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager/physician as appropriate.
• Document patient care and concerns in the chart.
