Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit in Mission Hills, California. This 13-week contract offers a Day Shift (07:00–19:00) with 3x12-hour shifts and weekend coverage on a rotating basis.

The RN will work in a PCU within an acute care hospital, utilizing Epic for charting and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Requirements include a minimum of 1 year ICU experience, telemetry familiarity, and an active RN license with Compact status; ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Qualifications

• 1 year ICU or equivalent experience.
• Telemetry experience.
• Active RN license; Compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor vitals in the PCU unit.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, blood products, and care of ventilated patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care effectively.
• Perform assessments, interpret diagnostics, and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
